Job description

Choralis Consulting has instructions to recruit an Assistant Management Accountant.

The company:– A corporate leader in their field, established 20 years ago. They provide technology and expertise to a diverse portfolio of clients across sectors such as travel, logistics, recruitment, and financial services. Their client base ranges from SMEs to multinational corporations.

The Role:– The Assistant Management Accountant will assist in preparing month-end management and financial reports, consolidations, quarterly forecasts, annual budgets, and planning. Responsibilities include preparing robust and timely monthly management accounts, producing accurate P&L estimates, forecasts quarterly, and managing marketing costs and overhead analysis. The role involves working closely with FP&A teams and business partners to produce cost center forecasts, budgets, analyze spend reports, profitability, and management payments.

The Candidate:– Possibly a graduate or part-qualified ACCA/CIMA student with 3-5 years of management accounting experience or qualified by experience. Experience from a group or corporate background with strong Excel skills (especially PivotTables). Must have an eye for detail, be a strong communicator, and possess all-round analysis experience. Comfortable working across business functions, supporting operations and commercial teams, challenging existing processes, and building strong relationships across the group. Prioritizes work effectively to meet targets, can work under tight deadlines, and is commercially aware with good planning and organizational skills. A team player with drive and determination.
