Pertemps Tm Cardiff is looking for a Graduate or Assistant Cost Manager / Project Manager to gain hands-on experience on infrastructure projects. You will work on cost planning, procurement and contract administration while supporting project teams from design through completion.

This role offers structured training, support towards chartership, exposure to major projects, and real progression opportunities within a collaborative, non-corporate environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field.

• Industry placement experience is advantageous but not required.

Graduate / Assistant Cost Manager / Project Manager – Cardiff

Looking for the ideal first step in your construction consultancy career?

This Cardiff-based business is an award-winning engineering consultancy with a genuine family feel, a growing Project & Cost Management team, and an excellent reputation for delivering high-profile infrastructure projects across the region.

As a Graduate or Assistant Cost/Project Manager, you'll gain exposure to a diverse range of infrastructure-led schemes spanning utilities, aviation, energy and wider public sector programmes. Working alongside experienced professionals, you'll support projects from early design through to completion while developing the skills needed to build a successful long-term career.

Responsibilities will include assisting with cost planning, procurement support, contract administration, project coordination, risk management and ongoing cost control throughout the project lifecycle.

They're looking for a motivated graduate or early-career professional with a degree in Quantity Surveying, Project Management, Construction Management or a related construction/engineering discipline. Previous industry placement experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
