An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Chartered Cost Manager / Quantity Surveyor to join a highly regarded multidisciplinary property and construction consultancy. Working across both public and private sector projects, you’ll play a key role in delivering complex schemes while helping to strengthen and grow client relationships.

The Role

You’ll lead cost management and contract administration services across a varied portfolio of projects from inception through to completion, working closely with clients, contractors and multidisciplinary design teams.

• Managing high-value construction projects through all project stages.
• Providing Cost Management, Employer's Agent and Contract Administration services.
• Administering NEC and JCT contracts.
• Managing budgets, cost reporting and change control.
• Producing clear commercial reports and client updates.
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
• Supporting business development and work-winning activities.
• Mentoring and developing junior team members.

About You

• MRICS qualified.
• Proven consultancy-based Cost Management / Quantity Surveying experience.
• Strong Employer's Agent and Contract Administration background.
• Sound knowledge of NEC and JCT contracts.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience delivering complex projects and managing multiple priorities.
• Commercially minded with a track record of developing client relationships.
• A proactive individual who enjoys responsibility and autonomy.
