Job summary

Synack is seeking a Graduate Software Engineer (AI) to design and build AI-centric systems for offensive security. You will drive product innovation at the intersection of AI and cybersecurity, shaping scalable software across teams.

You will own end-to-end features from ideation to production, work on agentic AI capabilities, and collaborate with cross-functional partners to integrate AI into broader solutions. This role emphasizes hands-on engineering and SDLC excellence.

Qualifications

• Degree in computing/technology.
• ~1 year of related work/internship experience.
• Proficient in Python and Go.
• Some AI tech experience (LLMs, RAG, MCP).
• Knowledge of microservices and REST/gRPC.
• Unit testing and BDD familiarity.
• Experience with asynchronous messaging (Pub/Sub, Kafka).
• NoSQL and RDBMS exposure.
• Docker/Kubernetes and cloud environments (GCP preferred).
• Strong teamwork and agile collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and deliver scalable AI-centric software systems.
• Advance agentic AI capabilities for vulnerability identification and automation.
• Own end-to-end feature development from ideation to production deployment.
• Contribute to AI-enabled systems and SDLC best practices.
• Participate in code reviews and design sessions to uplift the team.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI across platforms.
