Job summary

Xcede is recruiting a Senior Security Engineer (Offensive) for a leading quant trading firm. You will spearhead the design and execution of AI-driven offensive security initiatives, including red teaming, adversary emulation and purple-team exercises across critical trading and tech platforms.

You will build and steer AI-enabled tooling, automate reconnaissance and response, and drive threat modelling and secure AI lifecycle practices within a high-complexity environment with significant attack

Qualifications

Bachelor-level degree in a relevant field (Computer Science and/or Cyber Security).
Around 10 years in offensive security with depth in penetration testing, app security and software development.
Proven delivery building AI-enabled offensive security capabilities.

Responsibilities

Lead offensive engagements: red teaming, pentesting, adversary emulation, purple team exercises.
Design and build AI-based tooling for recon, exploitation, detection and response.
Research AI/LLM attack techniques: prompt injection, model abuse, agentic exploitation.
Set technical direction for tooling, frameworks and automation.
Lead threat modelling and security architecture reviews, translating outcomes into roadmaps.
Own AI threat modelling, model risk assessment and secure AI lifecycle practices.
