Graduate Acoustics Consultant, Manchester

Our graduate GROW programme is a structured 3-year programme designed to help you develop skills to become an experienced professional. You will benefit from training, mentoring, and support for relevant accreditations, as well as guidance to succeed. As a GROW graduate, you will be empowered to drive your career and gain a variety of experiences to build your skills.

As a specialist and science graduate joining GROW, you will specialize from day one in your chosen discipline. Working in teams, you'll be responsible for your deliverables, liaising with clients, and building your technical expertise. You will work on environmental and planning projects, including infrastructure, urban regeneration, and community projects, exposing you to diverse challenges and specialists.

Our Acoustics team handles complex projects such as Lower Thames Crossing, Barking Riverside Station, High Speed 2, and support for the Platinum Jubilee celebrations in London. As an Acoustic Technician, you will assist in project tasks, learn new technical skills, and focus on innovation, sustainability, and digital solutions.

Accepted Degrees:
  • BSc or MSc in Maths, Physics, Environmental Science (Geography, etc.), Acoustic Engineering, Music Technology, Civil Engineering
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Graduating or recently graduated with at least a 2:2 in a relevant degree
  • Skills including resilience, creativity, analytical thinking, and teamwork
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to influence stakeholders
  • Willing to travel and stay away from home when required
  • Full UK driving license
  • Comfortable with site-based work when needed
