Step Into Teaching Limited is partnering with a welcoming mainstream secondary school in Croydon (CR0) to recruit a Graduate Teaching Assistant from September. You will support students across lessons, deliver targeted small-group interventions and provide 1:1 support under the guidance of experienced teachers.

This role offers valuable classroom experience across the curriculum, helping pupils overcome barriers to learning and build confidence.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (2:2) is required.
  • Genuine interest in education and supporting young people.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proactive, resilient and adaptable approach.

Responsibilities

Step Into Teaching is supporting a welcoming and high-achieving mainstream secondary school in the Croydon (CR0) area, seeking a Graduate Teaching Assistant to join their team from September.

This varied role offers the chance to work across the school, supporting students within lessons, delivering targeted small-group interventions, and providing 1:1 support where required. You'll work closely with experienced teachers and the inclusion team, helping students overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential.

Every day is different, giving you invaluable experience across the curriculum while allowing you to build meaningful relationships with students and make a genuine difference to their progress and confidence.
