Job summary

You will support A-Level Mathematics students through one-to-one and small-group tutoring, help with revision and exam preparation, and work alongside experienced lecturers to develop resources and reinforce classroom learning.

Qualifications

• A 2:1 degree or above in Mathematics or a related field - essential.
• Strong mathematical knowledge suitable for A-Level.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
• A proactive, organised and adaptable approach.
• A genuine interest in supporting young people and education.

Responsibilities

• Tutoring A-Level Mathematics students one-to-one and in small groups.
• Help students understand challenging mathematical concepts.
• Assist with revision and examination preparation.
• Reinforce learning delivered in the classroom.
• Monitor progress and provide feedback to teaching staff.
• Assist with preparation of learning and revision resources.
• Work with Mathematics lecturers to support students.
