Job summary

European Tech Recruit is seeking a GPU Software Engineer for a PAYE contract on-site in the UK. The role focuses on mobile GPU architecture and 3D graphics APIs such as Vulkan and DirectX, influencing software and hardware teams to deliver high-performance graphics.

You will design features for 3D APIs, analyze performance, prototype interface changes, and collaborate with architects and driver teams. 5+ years of GPU software experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience with 3D graphics APIs (Vulkan/OpenGL ES/DirectX/Metal).
• Strong C++ development skills and GPU architecture understanding.
• 5+ years in GPU software architecture or driver development.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop features for 3D graphics APIs on mobile GPUs.
• Investigate and evaluate API changes with hardware and software implications.
• Prototype interface changes and contribute to GPU architecture discussions.
• Collaborate with software/hardware architects, driver teams and partners.
• Communicate technical concepts to internal and external stakeholders.
• Perform performance analysis to ensure efficiency.
