Job summary

Apple Inc. is seeking a GPU Physical Verification Design Engineer in Greater London to drive physical verification across the design cycle. You will collaborate with the Physical Design team to implement best practices, guidelines, and checklists, ensuring successful convergence for next‑generation GPU blocks.

You will manage complex PDV tasks, resolve design issues, and coordinate with back-end teams to meet tapeout milestones while maintaining high standards of reliability and performance.

Qualifications

• Experience with hierarchical design approach, top-down design, budgeting, and physical convergence.
• Experience with Physical Verification checks including Base/Metal DRC, ERC, LVS, Process ANT, PERC, and ESD.
• Experience with P&R flows and Physical Verification tools (e.g. Calibre).
• Graduate or BS/MS and PDV relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Work with Physical Design team to drive physical verification in the design cycle.
• Drive methodologies and best-known methods to streamline physical design work.
• Create guidelines and checklists, drive execution and track progress.
• Communicate needs of Physical Design Verification with cross-functional teams to achieve back-end goals.
