The role

The Power VR Hardware Graphics team has been innovating and delivering GPU IPs for the last 30 years. Our mission is to create through constant innovation the best-in-class GPUs for a wide range of market segments and applications. This is an excellent opportunity to take your ASIC design verification career to a whole new level on cutting-edge designs within our Power VR Hardware Graphics group. Day to day, you'll take responsibility for applying modern techniques to design and verify complicated hardware modules.

Responsibilities include:

• Design and implement verification strategies to achieve our design and quality goals
• Root-cause design issues, working with design engineers
• Collaborate with engineers from other disciplines towards mutual targets
• Participate in design and verification reviews
• Write SV-UVM tests, sequences, functional coverage, assertions
• Develop test benches in UVM
• Utilise the latest techniques, tools and technologies for verification activities
• Plan and schedule your own work
• Benefit from team knowledge via open discussions and presentations

Qualifications include:

• Knowledge of digital integrated circuits verification techniques and methodologies
• Proven experience in IP or SOC-level verification
• Ability to determine verification requirements from specifications analysis
• Experience with debug and testing methodologies
• Experience with industry-standard verification tools (UVM/SystemVerilog, VCS, Cadence, Questa)
• Experience with version control systems (Git, Mercurial, Perforce, Subversion)

Additional Skills:

• Background in digital design
• Programming and scripting skills (Python)
• Interest or experience in Object-Oriented or Functional Programming
• Knowledge of GPU/CPU/AI architectures
