Job summary

Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a GPhC-registered Pharmacy Technician to join a dynamic team. The post is designed for Band 4/5 progression, with Band 5 covering accredited checking and leadership development for ACT-status holders.

The role includes hands-on line management after competency training and a comprehensive in-house programme. Experience in hospital or community pharmacy is welcome, with flexibility for varied hours.

Qualifications

• Essential criteria: GPhC registration as Pharmacy Technician.
• Strong communication and attention to detail required.
• Ability to work in a busy, multidisciplinary environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care for inpatients, outpatients and external units.
• Operate EPIC system and Omnicell cabinets for accurate dispensing.
• Label, dispense and check a wide range of prescriptions including CD, trials, TPN, chemo, home IV and palliative care.
• Participate in medicines management rotations with direct patient contact and reconciliation.
