Job summary

NHS England is recruiting for a Part-time GP Training Director post across the East Midlands region. The post is two 8-hour sessions per week with flexible hours and starts as soon as possible.

You will plan, deliver and evaluate educator development activities for about nine months each year, including Train the Trainer courses and refresher sessions, and provide TPD support to GP training programmes for the remaining three months.

Responsibilities

• Deliver educator training for approximately nine months of the year, including three five-day courses, a range of two-day courses, and one-day refresher sessions
• Contribute to planning, facilitation and evaluation of educator development activity as part of the Train the Trainer Faculty
• Provide TPD support to local GP training programmes for approximately three months of the year
• Support ARCP panels as required
• Work collaboratively with GP School colleagues to support high-quality education, educator development and trainee progression
