Job summary

Phoenix Health Group invites a GP Partner to join our thriving Tetbury practice on 3-6 sessions. We are moving into a state-of-the-art building in early 2027 with space to expand our team.

You will manage your own patient list and handle related duties such as prescriptions, referrals, and communications, within a supportive partnership of 12 other Partners and 4 Salaried GPs.

Qualifications

• Registered with the General Medical Council.
• Current UK registration for practice medicine.
• Experience working in primary care is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage a patient list, including referrals and communications.
• Re-authorise prescriptions and handle pathology filing.
• Collaborate with a large GP partnership to ensure continuity of care.

Exciting Opportunity at Cotswold Practice

Phoenix Health Group is looking for a GP Partner (3-6 sessions) to join our happy and thriving practice in Tetbury. We are excited to be moving into a new state of the art Building in early 2027 and will have space to expand our team.

Main duties of the job

We are proud of our continuity of care and patients are assigned a usual GP.

The successful candidate will be responsible for a patient list and the work associated with that list, including prescription re-authorising, referrals and communications and pathology filing.

The successful candidate will join a large Partnership with 12 other Partners and 4 Salaried GPs, which provides resilience and plenty of opportunities to support one another.

We have a total list size 24,600 and growing, with practices in Cirencester, South Cerney, Tetbury and Kemble.

GP workload is supported by a range of Allied Health professionals including our in-house practice pharmacy team, 4 urgent care practitioners and practice nursing team who manage our chronic disease patients and a team of care co-ordinators who support GPs to manage their patients.
