Job summary

Horsley Medical Practice in East Horsley, Surrey, invites applications for a GP Partner to join our established partnership and work six sessions weekly. You will share in leadership, strategic planning and service development while delivering high-quality, patient-centred care within a supportive team.

The post focuses on sustainability, continuous improvement and collaboration with the Practice Manager to shape the future of our community primary care services.

Qualifications

• Be a fully qualified and GMC-registered GP.

Responsibilities

• Provide a high standard of evidence-based, patient-centred general practice to registered patients.
• Undertake face-to-face, telephone and other appropriate consultations.
• Assess, diagnose and manage a broad range of acute and chronic conditions.
• Provide appropriate clinical management and follow-up of patients.
• Prescribe safely and appropriately in accordance with guidance.
• Make appropriate referrals to secondary care and other professionals.
• Participate in practice audits, performance reviews and improvement activity.
• Maintain accurate and contemporaneous clinical records.

Job summary Horsley Medical Practice is a friendly, well-established and thriving GP practice in East Horsley, Surrey, serving approximately 10600 patients. With the planned retirement of our long-serving Senior Partner, we are delighted to offer an exciting opportunity to join our established GP Partnership for six sessions a week. Main duties of the job Being a Partner at Horsley Medical Practice means contributing beyond routine clinical work and taking a shared responsibility for the future success of the practice. Partners work collaboratively to:

• Contribute to Partnership meetings and collective decision-making.
• Help shape the strategic direction and long-term sustainability of the practice.
• Work closely with the Practice Manager on operational management, workforce planning and business development.
• Contribute to financial and business planning.
• Support recruitment, workforce development and succession planning.
• Identify and develop opportunities for service improvement and innovation.
• Maintain high standards of clinical care, professionalism and patient experience.
• Support a positive culture across the whole multidisciplinary team.

Job responsibilities The GP Partner will:
