Zusammenfassung

The Methodist Church in Britain is seeking a GP educator for a 12-month fixed-term post focused on medical student education within general practice placements. You will oversee Year 4 and Year 6 students, supervise, teach and provide feedback on assessments and management plans.

Expect seven education sessions per week plus one to two clinical sessions, with cross-cover between placements. Job-share applications are welcome and GMC registration with MRCGP or equivalent is required.

Qualifikationen

• Membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners (MRCGP) or equivalent
• Evidence of commitment to continuing professional development
• Full GMC registration

Aufgaben

• Oversee Year 4 and Year 6 medical students during GP placements
• Supervise, teach and support students at each training stage
• Review cases with students and provide feedback on assessments and management plans
• Discuss students' assessments and management plans
• Support students’ consultation, examination and communication skills
• Help students understand continuity of care and multidisciplinary working
