Job summary

Invicta Health is seeking a GP Consultant for St James Surgery in Dover to provide clinical leadership, oversight, and direction for the site, supporting the GP and ACP workforce and ensuring safe, patient‑centred care across all services.

You will lead on clinical governance, audits, and incident management, recruit and develop staff, and work with PCNs and external partners to deliver integrated, high‑quality primary care for the local population in Kent.

Qualifications

• Medical degree and eligibility for GMC registration.
• CCT in General Practice or equivalent.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience in primary and urgent care settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership and oversight of the multidisciplinary team.
• Ensure safe, high-quality patient care and accessible leadership on-site.
• Lead clinical governance, audits, and incident management.
• Recruitment, appraisals, CPD, and performance management.
• Develop and implement policies, pathways and service improvements.
• Coordinate with Primary Care Networks and external partners.
