Job summary

Royal College of General Practitioners is recruiting for an experienced GP to deliver high-quality clinical care within a GP surgery setting. You will work with clinical leads to support the surgical plan, ensuring patient-focused services and robust governance.

The role requires GMC registration, NHS performers list, and GP accreditation (MRCGP). Familiarity with QOF and SystmOne/EMISweb is preferred, with opportunities to develop within a large primary care network.

Qualifications

• Current GMC registration with NHS performers list and regular clinical work.
• GP accreditation (MRCGP or equivalent).
• Clear commitment to delivering quality and patient-focused services.
• Knowledge of QOF, LCS, DES, CQUINs and appropriate coding.
• Working knowledge of clinical systems such as SystmOne or EMISweb.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality clinical care to patients registered and attending the GP surgery.
• Support clinical governance and contribute to improving health outcomes through audits and QOF.
• Provide care including in-person and video consultations, triage, results, reviews and on-call tasks.
• Adhere to GMC standards and prioritise individual patient care.
• Assist with development and review of the surgery action plan with the practice team.
