Job summary

Peaks & Plains Housing Trust in Macclesfield is seeking a Governance Officer to join the Business Assurance team. You will support the Board and Committees through coordinating agendas, reports and board papers, attend meetings and draft minutes with accurate action logs.

The role focuses on governance reporting, internal assurance, policy management and audit administration while building strong relationships with Board Members and executives.

Qualifications

• Experience in governance, compliance, administration or company secretarial environment would be beneficial.
• Highly organised, proactive and detail-focused with excellent communication and administrative skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate agendas, reports and Board papers for the Trust’s Board and Committees.
• Attend meetings and produce high-quality minutes and maintain accurate action logs.
• Support governance reporting, internal assurance processes, policy management and audit administration.
