Peregrine is seeking a Test Governance Lead to join our Technology Integration and Assurance Function, part of the System Integration & Testing team. This role is critical to ensuring that dcc’s testing and assurance activities are delivered in line with regulatory requirements and internal governance standards, supporting the successful delivery of change across the smart energy ecosystem.

How you will contribute to transforming energy and shaping the future.

  • Own the creation, review, and refinement of governance documentation – including strategies, progress reports, and completion artefacts – ensuring clarity, accuracy, and alignment with regulatory frameworks.
  • Write for impact: Understand diverse audiences (regulators, technical teams, stakeholders) and tailor content to their knowledge level and needs.
  • Maintain a structured library of governance artefacts for d programmes, ensuring accessibility and compliance.
  • Support governance forums such as the sec Panel’s Testing Advisory Group (TAG) and Test Assurance Board (TAB) through meeting coordination, artefact management, and reporting.
  • Advise on regulatory requirements and facilitate discussions with governing bodies (SECAS, DESNZ).
  • Collaborate with internal teams to evidence compliance and provide clear, well-documented assurance outputs.
