Job summary

Insignis Academy Trust is seeking a Governance & Compliance Officer to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. The role is based at our Central offices in Aylesbury with potential travel within a 25-mile radius as directed.

The post supports administration, coordination, and delivery of the Trust’s governance framework and statutory compliance operations. You will work under the Head of Governance and Compliance, helping ensure that the Trust Board, its committees and Local Governing

Qualifications

• Experience in governance and regulatory compliance.
• Familiarity with safeguarding requirements and DBS checks.
• Ability to coordinate and support board and committee activities.

Responsibilities

• Assist in administration, coordination and delivery of the Trust's governance framework.
• Support the Trust Board, committees and Local Governing Bodies to operate effectively.
• Ensure compliance with the Academy Trust Handbook and statutory requirements.
