Job summary

Barcud is seeking a Corporate Compliance Officer to strengthen its governance framework, coordinating risk management and internal audit processes to maintain strong controls. You will manage compliance registers, data protection, and reporting to the Board and Welsh Government, while supporting colleagues and ensuring timely information across the organisation.

Working within a not-for-profit housing association context, you will liaise with stakeholders to uphold Barcud’s standards and respond

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Data Protection requirements and compliance.
• Ability to use a variety of computer systems to log, monitor and analyse data.
• Ability to set up databases and analyse data.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise, work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Update Corporate Registers and report quarterly to the Board or Committee.
• Coordinate and validate data returns to Welsh Government and other bodies on a quarterly or annual basis.
• Prepare and submit Accounts and Confirmation Statements to Companies House and the FCA as required.
• Advise on data breaches and report to ICO in conjunction with Head of Governance.
• Coordinate risk management and internal audit processes across the Group.
• Support governance and maintain service levels across all work areas.
