Job summary

Close Brothers invites applications for a governance-focused administrative role supporting the Commissions Manager and Governance team. You will assist with commission calculations, reporting, and control framework embedding while engaging with stakeholders across Sales, Finance and Risk.

The role emphasizes auditable reporting, risk management, and regulatory compliance with a hybrid working pattern in a UK-based environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in governance and financial controls oversight.
• Experience in commissions management is beneficial.
• Good MS Excel skills.
• Ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
• Knowledge of risk management would be advantageous.
• Ability to produce auditable MI and monthly reporting.

Responsibilities

• Assist with commission calculation, validation and reporting.
• Assist with control framework design and embedding.
• Produce auditable MI for senior and executive stakeholders, including monthly reporting to Sales, Finance, and Group Reward.
• Act as interface between Governance, Risk, Finance, Operations and Sales ensuring incentive design is controlled and evidenced.
• Prepare packs and minutes for commissions and incentives committees.
• Deputise for the Commissions Manager and represent Commissions in meetings and projects.
• Ensure Governance and Compliance requirements are adhered to and regulatory reporting standards are met.
• Manage risk registers and follow up outstanding actions.
• Demonstrate knowledge of risk management and conduct risk.
