Job summary

Close Brothers Group is seeking a Data Governance Analyst to join the Risk Team. You will help govern, document and control customer, account and remediation data throughout its lifecycle, performing data analysis, profiling and quality assessment with strong SQL and BI reporting skills.

Hybrid working is supported, and the role focuses on metadata, lineage and data quality, collaborating with data owners, stakeholders and technical teams to mitigate data risks.

Qualifications

• Experience in data governance and data quality disciplines.
• Strong SQL querying and data analysis capabilities.
• Ability to produce dashboards and reports using BI tools.

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation of data governance controls and procedures.
• Document data provisioning requirements from stakeholders and regulators.
• Produce regular data quality reporting, dashboards and MI for stakeholders.
• Identify and document data quality issues and control failures.
• Support traceability of data requirements to source systems and business objectives.
• Build relationships with data owners and technical teams.
• Support identification and management of data-related risks.
