Job summary

Opencast is seeking a Quality Assurance consultant to ensure quality across public and private sector projects. You will be the sole software test engineer on some projects or part of a team, promoting Opencast's QA approach in an agile setting.

Security Clearance (SC) or eligibility is required, along with UK citizenship and five years of continuous residence. On-site work is expected across client sites and HQ.

Qualifications

• Active Security Check (SC) clearance or eligibility is required.
• UK citizenship with five years of continuous residence in the UK.
• Experience as the sole QA engineer on a project.
• Experience with front-end and API testing and test automation.
• Ability to mentor junior colleagues and drive quality across teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead testing across projects in an agile environment.
• Collaborate with team, clients and users to maintain quality.
• Mentor junior QA teammates and promote best practices.
• Develop test plans and detailed QA reports.
• Support E2E and UAT activities and defect resolution.
