Job summary

The Ivy Collection in Newcastle upon Tyne is seeking a Goods Receiver to manage back-of-house deliveries, check items, and ensure compliance with HACCP and health and safety standards. You will report any shorted items and maintain temperature records to support food safety, with a minimum 20-hour contract and opportunities for development.

Applicants should have previous Goods Receiver experience, strong FIFO knowledge, and excellent written and spoken English.

• Previous experience as Goods Receiver or similar role.
• Strong understanding of FIFO.
• Strong understanding of health and safety.
• Good communication and written English skills.

Responsibilities

• Accept and check all incoming deliveries.
• Report any missing items to the delivery driver and manager on duty.
• Stock Rotation.
• Recording delivery temperatures.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of work areas, adhering to food safety.
• Follow instructions from the Senior Management.

Job Description:

A Goods Receiver oversees the restaurants back of house deliveries, ensuring deliveries are well received, checked, and dealt with as soon as possible, you will manage the kitchens delivery HACCP and report any shorted items and will understand professional kitchen health and safety regulations.
