Rullion Managed Services is seeking a Goods Inward Inspector to lead a team in Goole. The role focuses on ensuring incoming materials meet quality standards before release to production within a fast-paced warehouse and manufacturing environment.

You will inspect materials, manage releases and quarantines, investigate quality issues, and drive improvements with cross-functional stakeholders. 37.5 hours a week on a 6-month contract, with pay up to £19.72 per hour depending on experience.

Responsabilidades

Goods Inward Inspector / Qaulity Control Inspector

The Opportunity

We are seeking a Goods Inward Inspection Supervisor to join a busy manufacturing and supply chain operation in Goole. This role will provide operational leadership to a team responsible for ensuring all incoming materials meet quality standards, specifications and engineering requirements before being released for production.

Working within a fast-paced warehouse and manufacturing environment, you will play a key role in maintaining material availability, managing quality issues and supporting production requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support a team of goods inward inspectors within the warehouse operation.
• Ensure incoming materials are inspected against quality standards, specifications and engineering drawings.
• Manage material release and quarantine processes to support production requirements.
• Investigate and resolve material quality concerns and non-conformances.
• Liaise with suppliers and internal stakeholders to resolve quality and availability issues.
• Produce KPI reports and analyse performance data to drive improvements.
• Ensure accurate system management of materials and inventory status.
• Support calibration and management of inspection and testing equipment.
• Drive continuous improvement and promote a strong safety culture across the team.

Essential Experience

• Previous supervisory or team leadership experience within warehouse, logistics, supply chain or manufacturing operations.
• Strong understanding of quality inspection processes and quality standards.
• Experience investigating non-conformances and supporting root cause analysis.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
• Experience within warehousing operations and material management environments.

Desirable Experience

• Experience using SAP or other MRP systems.
• NDT experience.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills.
• Knowledge of materials used within rolling stock or manufacturing environments.
• MHE experience or licences.
