Job summary

Proper Cornish in Bodmin is seeking a Warehouse Operative (Goods In) to join our pastry production team. You will receive and manage goods from suppliers, check for damaged items, move stock safely, and operate machinery in line with company procedures.

Shift: Monday to Friday, 14:00–22:30 with two 30-minute unpaid breaks. Base rate £13.55/hour; enhanced rate £16.94/hour for night hours or overtime over 37.5 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Receive goods and supplies efficiently.
• Check damaged or missing items and report accordingly.
• Move and store stock safely by hand or with forklift.
• Operate machinery in line with procedures.
• Pick and load orders for despatch.
• Support daily warehouse management.
