E3recruitment is seeking a Goods In Operative in Wakefield, West Yorkshire. The role involves processing purchase orders, safe forklift operation, and coordinating with several teams to source parts. This is a solid entry path with potential to train as an engineer.

The position offers 37.5 working hours per week (Mon-Thu 08:00-16:30, Fri 08:00-15:15) with overtime paid at time and a half. Starting salary £27,300 per year plus benefits including a 33-day holiday entitlement.

Qualifications

• Reliable, hardworking and committed to progression to engineer.
• Experience in processing purchase orders is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Process incoming purchase orders accurately and efficiently.
• Safely and effectively operate a counterbalance forklift truck.
• Liaise with multiple teams to locate manufactured parts.
• Accurately record all transactions using the in-house IT system.
• Carry out duties as requested by the Progress & Goods In Manager.
