Job summary

E3 Recruitment is staffing a Goods In Operative for a respected engineering organisation based in Wakefield, West Yorkshire. The role is 37.5 hours per week on a day shift, Monday to Thursday 08:00 to 16:30, Friday 08:00 to 15:15, with overtime frequently available midweek and weekends, paid at time and a half.

Starting salary £27,300 per year (or £14.00 per hour) with 33 holiday days, a pension plan and private health cover.

Qualifications

• Operate a Counterbalance forklift safely and efficiently.
• Record all transactions accurately in the in-house IT system.
• Liaise with multiple teams to locate manufactured parts.
• Process incoming purchase orders to company standards.
• Demonstrate reliability and commitment to the employer.

Responsibilities

• Ensure incoming purchase orders are processed accurately and efficiently.
• Safely operate a Counterbalance Forklift Truck.
• Carry out duties as requested by the Progress & Goods In Manager.
• Record all transactions using the in-house IT system.
• Collaborate with teams to locate parts.
