Job summary

E3 Recruitment is assisting a respected engineering organisation in Wakefield, West Yorkshire to recruit a Goods In Operative. You will process incoming orders, operate a counterbalance forklift, and log transactions on the in-house IT system.

The role offers 37.5 hours per week with an early finish on Fridays and overtime paid at time and a half. Starting salary is £27,300 per year, plus a 33-day holiday allowance, a pension plan, and private health cover.

Qualifications

• Reliable, hardworking and committed to the employer.
• Experience operating a counterbalance forklift.
• Ability to record transactions using the in-house IT system.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all incoming purchase orders are processed accurately and efficiently to the company’s standards and priorities.
• Safe and effective use of a Counterbalance Forklift Truck
• Carry out any duties as requested by the Progress & Goods In Manager
• Accurately record all transactions using the in-house IT system
• Liaise with multiple teams to locate manufactured parts.
