Overview

Interaction Recruitment is recruiting for an experienced Goods In Operative to join their busy client in Luton. The successful candidate will have strong experience working within a Goods In Department and will also have previous experience using a counterbalance or reach forklift. This is a temp-to-perm position, starting with a 12-week temporary basis before potentially joining the client permanently.

Salary: £12.50 per hour

Job Location: Bedfordshire, Luton, East of England, United Kingdom

This role involves:

1. Safely receiving products, including returns
2. Checking against delivery notes / Purchase Orders
3. Booking in and putting away stock
4. Resolving queries
5. Operating forklift (counterbalance / reach)

To be considered for this role, you must have / be:

1. Previous experience working in a Goods In team within a distribution centre environment
2. Experience using a reach truck or counterbalance forklift (must be able to provide an in-house or valid license)
3. Computer literate
4. Fluent in English (speaking, reading, and writing)
5. Strong attention to detail
6. Willing to use step ladders
7. Flexible to work in picking or assembly departments as required
8. Available for an immediate start
