Goods In Operative - Immediate Start Available

Location: Letchworth
Hours: 8-hour shift between 07:00-17:00 (Typical shift: 08:00-17:00), Monday - Friday
Salary: Competitive, based on experience
Join a growing and dynamic team in a friendly working environment! We are looking for a Goods In Operative to support our warehouse operations and help maintain our reputation for excellent service and reliability.

What You'll Be Doing:

  1. Receiving, inspecting, and recording incoming stock
  2. Ensuring deliveries match order specifications and quality standards
  3. Organizing and storing materials efficiently in the warehouse
  4. Updating stock records and reporting any discrepancies
  5. Assisting with general warehouse duties as needed
  6. Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
  7. Occasional collections and deliveries using company vehicles
  8. Supporting improvements in warehouse operations

What We're Looking For:
  1. Experience in a similar warehouse or stock control role (preferred)
  2. Forklift truck license (desirable but not essential)
  3. Basic computer skills for stock management
  4. Good attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
  5. Comfortable with manual handling and lifting tasks
  6. A team player with a strong work ethic and positive attitude
