Job summary

BGA is seeking a Warehouse Goods-In Manager to lead a fast-paced team at its Swindon site. You will oversee unloading, booking in deliveries, and ensuring accuracy of inbound stock against quality checks.

The role requires strong leadership, detailed knowledge of stock control, and experience with warehouse management systems. A competitive salary, pension, and holiday entitlement are offered as part of the package.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a team in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Strong understanding of stock control, goods receiving, and inbound/outbound processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate day-to-day Goods-In operations, ensuring inbound deliveries are unloaded, checked, and booked in accurately.
• Manage and support warehouse associates, allocate workloads, and monitor performance against targets.
• Ensure stock is received into the WMS and released only after inspection and requirements are met.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain to plan inbound activity and prioritise urgent deliveries.
• Investigate discrepancies, damaged stock and process issues; implement corrective actions.
• Monitor KPIs and provide updates on inbound performance and operational challenges.
• Drive continuous improvement to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and productivity.
• Support wider warehouse operations across a multifunctional environment.
