Levy Merchandising is seeking an experienced Goods In / Stock Control Manager for our Leicester? Actually Wednesfield operation.

You will lead end‑to‑end goods receipt and stock control in a busy e‑commerce warehouse, ensuring accuracy, availability and governance across physical inventory and WMS. You’ll drive process improvements and lead a proactive warehouse team to deliver high‑quality stock management.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in goods‑in, inventory management or stock control in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong understanding of inventory governance and WMS.
• Excellent numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
• Analytical mindset with ability to identify root causes of discrepancies and implement sustainable fixes.
• Organisational skills to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
• Proactive and solutions‑driven with ownership of issues.

Responsibilities

• Oversee inbound stock receipt, validation and processing; ensure accurate recording in the WMS.
• Maintain stock accuracy and integrity across lifecycle and locations.
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, shortages, damages and QC issues.
• Label, store and allocate products to correct warehouse locations per standards.
• Monitor trends and KPIs to improve stock accuracy and availability.
• Lead regular stock takes, cycle counts and audits; drive corrective actions.
• Develop and improve goods‑in, stock control and inventory processes.
• Promote accountability and ensure adherence to procedures across teams.
