Job summary

CEVA Logistics UK&I is seeking an experienced Goods In Inspector based at London Heathrow to inspect incoming aircraft parts and verify airworthiness. You will work 19:00–07:00 on a 4 on 4 off shift, reporting to the Aerospace Manager and ensuring documentation is accurate and complete.

Your role will include continuous improvement, audits support, and maintaining training records as you progress through the six-month training period to qualify.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in inspecting aircraft parts, materials or components.
• Solid understanding of EASA Part-145 regulations and applicable workflows.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong documentation discipline.

Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming aircraft parts, materials and components for airworthiness.
• Verify conformance to purchase orders, repair orders and certifications.
• Ensure required documentation (Certificates of Conformity, MSDS, Airworthiness Certificates) is complete and filed.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and support customer quality audits.
• Maintain training records and complete training on role and regulations.

YOUR ROLE

Our operation based in London, Heathrow, is looking for a Goods In Inspector Inspector where you will examine incoming aircraft parts and verify their airworthiness standards.

This is a 4 on 4 off shift, 19:00 - 07:00.

WHATAREYOUGOINGTODO?

Reporting to the Aerospace Manager, you will be responsible for inspecting incoming aircraft parts, materials and components to ensure compliance with purchase orders, repair orders, certifications and specifications. You will verify that all parts meet airworthiness standards and are free from damage or defects.You will also ensure that all required documentation such as Certificates of Conformity, Material Safety Data Sheets and Airworthiness Certificates is complete, accurate, and properly filed.

In addition, you will identify and communicate opportunities for continuous improvement, support customer quality audits and ensure that your training records are maintained and kept up to date. Your training will last around six months and will cover every aspect of the role, along with the regulations you’ll need to follow. Once you’ve successfully passed the client interview, you’ll receive your certifying stamp, officially qualifying you to work on your own.

Our ideal candidate will have proven experience in a similar role involving the inspection of aircraft parts, materials or components. You will have a solid understanding of EASA Part-145 regulations and how it applies within a maintenance or repair environment.

You will have excellent attention to detail, ensuring that all inspections and documentation meet the highest airworthiness and compliance standards. You will be proactive, organised and confident in communicating with both internal teams and external stakeholders. A strong commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement will help you succeed in this role.
