Job summary

Just Eat Takeaway.com is seeking a Go Engineer in the JET Connect team to build and scale high‑volume POS and menu integrations across markets. You’ll contribute to robust microservices in Go and help ensure reliability as part of a fast, Kanban‑driven delivery process.

You’ll collaborate with product and delivery teams, apply TDD, leverage AWS services like DynamoDB, SNS, SQS and S3, and embrace AI-assisted coding to accelerate development.

Qualifications

• Solid Go experience: a few years of commercial experience writing clean, efficient, and testable code in Go.
• Proactive mindset: you actively seek ways to improve the codebase, fix bugs, and streamline processes.
• Event-driven know-how: good understanding of microservices and event-driven design, including eventual consistency and distributed systems.
• SRE mindset: care deeply about production reliability, and improving services after go‑live.
• Great communication: able to explain technical concepts to non-technical folks.
