Job summary

HIRANI in Newry, Northern Ireland, is seeking a Project Engineer to support Engineering Projects in delivering capital, upgrade, and process-improvement initiatives within GMP-regulated environments.

You will help plan, design, execute, and close-out projects, prepare technical documentation, and collaborate with Production, QA, Maintenance, and external contractors to ensure on-time, within-scope delivery and compliant handover.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or equivalent required.
• Proven experience supporting engineering or capital projects in regulated environments.
• Working knowledge of GMP and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Support planning, design, execution and close-out of engineering projects.
• Prepare project documentation, drawings, specifications, and reports.
• Assist in scheduling, cost monitoring, and risk management.
• Collaborate with Production, QA, Maintenance, and external contractors.
• Support commissioning, qualification, and handover of systems.
• Review designs and installation plans for GMP and safety compliance.
• Document all activities and maintain audit-ready records.
