Job summary

Unipart Manufacturing is launching a flagship Coventry project to build a 200+ person site within 16 weeks, combining high-volume electrification assembly with complex injection moulding inputs. The General Manager will have full end-to-end accountability for mobilising the site, embedding The Unipart Way, and delivering on contract milestones.

You will lead rapid workforce mobilisation, own P&L, drive cost efficiency, and oversee HSE, quality, and throughput across both lines, while engaging

Qualifications

• Degree (or equivalent) in engineering or business; Lean Six Sigma certification is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead site mobilisation to scale from 0 to 200+ team members in 4 months.
• Own P&L, budgets, and drive cost efficiency.
• Oversee Health, Safety, Environment, Quality, and throughput across electrification and injection moulding lines.
• Embed The Unipart Way and continuous improvement across shifts.
• Manage executive customer relationships and deliver on key contract milestones.
