Job summary

Deverell Smith Ltd is seeking a General Manager for a landmark build-to-rent scheme in Digbeth, Birmingham. You will own the on-site lettings and property management, driving rental growth and leading a multi-disciplinary team to deliver first-class service.

You'll set the resident experience tone, nurture community engagement, monitor budgets, and work with senior leadership on long-term asset strategy to maximise value. This is a full-time, on-site role.

Qualifications

• Led teams in build-to-rent or PBSA or similar residential environments.
• Able to read and manage a P&L, budgets and performance reporting.
• Strong communication and community engagement capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Own the on-site lettings and property management operations for the scheme.
• Drive rental growth, manage costs and report performance with commercial rigour.
• Lead and develop a multi-disciplinary onsite team across leasing, facilities and customer service.
• Set the resident experience tone, building a community through events and service excellence.
• Ensure health & safety, sustainability and regulatory compliance is current.
