Job summary

CB&I Asset Solutions is seeking an International Training & Competence Manager to lead development and delivery of global training programs. You will align workforce capability with regional market needs and bid requirements, coordinating with BD, operations and external providers to ensure scalable, compliant solutions.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent experience in Operations or Technical Training.
• Strong understanding of international competence management systems.
• Knowledge of international training delivery models.
• Experience in Oil & Gas environments.
• Knowledge of local content / ICV requirements.
• Assessor/verifier qualifications are advantageous but not essential.
• Ability to translate operational requirements into practical training solutions.
• Strong bid/proposal writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and implementation of international training and competence solutions that support market entry and growth.
• The role ensures in-country training and capability solutions support bid activity, readiness and mobilization across regions.
• Maintain commercial accountability for viable, scalable capability solutions.
• Bridge business development, operations and external providers for practical delivery.
• Develop and implement an international competence framework adaptable to regional needs.
• Define region-specific local content strategies to support regulatory compliance and competitive positioning in bids.
• Support bid development with credible, deliverable solutions aligned to operational realities.
• Identify capability risks across regions and develop mitigation approaches.
• Drive continuous improvement of training models, frameworks and delivery approaches.
