Our client, a global engineering and manufacturing business, seeks a Training & Competence Specialist to develop its competency frameworks and integrate them within its Learning Management System (LMS). This 12-month contract role focuses on building role-based competency frameworks, linking them to training and assessments, and improving reporting for management oversight.

Qualifications

• Experience building competency frameworks and assessment processes.
• Experience using an LMS to manage training and competence.
• Strong organisation and attention to detail in handling training data.

Responsabilités

• Build and maintain role-based competency frameworks, matrices and assessment criteria.
• Ensure the LMS reflects these accurately.
• Work with managers and technical specialists to identify required skills and competences for each role.
• Develop clear assessment criteria and evidence capture methods.
• Link competency requirements to training and assessments in the LMS.
• Identify competency gaps and support development plans with managers.
• Coordinate development and updating of learning and assessment content.
• Improve reporting so managers monitor competence, training completion and certification expiry.
• Support audits by ensuring clear competency requirements and evidence.
