Job summary

Pets Choice Ltd is seeking an International Trade Coordinator to manage end-to-end logistics for imported and exported products across international markets. You will liaise with external partners to ensure smooth movement of goods worldwide.

The role involves coordinating transport, creating export/import documents, monitoring compliance, and working with internal teams to optimise order pipelines, while staying updated on international legislation and potential risks.

Qualifications

• Experience within an international role, preferably freight forwarding, import, export or customs.
• Understanding of Inco terms & customs classifications.
• General import and export formalities.
• IT literate, including Microsoft Office and 3rd party booking platforms.
• Customer focussed attitude.
• Eye for detail and accuracy.
• Lateral thinker, capable of managing multiple priorities calmly.
• Full Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Organise transport and delivery of international consignments from multiple locations including offshore 3PL.
• Create export documents (health certificates, preference docs, invoices).
• Ensure accuracy of import/export documentation and customs clearances.
• Be main contact for international customers, suppliers and internal teams.
• Track consignments and maintain shared transport trackers.
• Stay updated on international laws and supply chain risks.
• Coordinate across procurement, manufacturing and warehousing on orders.
• Develop processes to enhance efficiency of core duties.
• Liaise with DEFRA, APHA, HMRC and port authorities.
• Process POs in ERP Dynamics 365 BC.
• Generate import veterinary notifications using IPAFFS.
• Monitor inventory and stock levels for imports and manufactured products.
