Job summary

CFC, located in London, is seeking an Underwriter, International Technology, to manage a profitable portfolio across technology, cyber and E&O lines. You will collaborate with brokers and internal teams to assess risks, provide expert guidance and drive profitable growth in a fast-paced environment.

The role offers opportunity to deepen technical underwriting knowledge, mentor colleagues and contribute to product innovation while representing CFC at market events.

Qualifications

• Significant underwriting or broking experience within technology, cyber or professional indemnity/E&O.
• Strong technical knowledge of E&O, technology or cyber insurance products across multiple lines.
• Excellent relationship-building, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities with attention to detail.
• Ability to present to brokers, colleagues and clients in various group settings.
• Genuine interest in emerging technologies and evolving risks in tech companies.

Responsibilities

• Underwriting new business and renewal opportunities across multiple lines.
• Build and strengthen broker relationships to identify profitable growth opportunities.
• Act as a trusted advisor to brokers, explaining product features and market developments.
• Deliver presentations to internal and external audiences.
• Research emerging technologies, legislation and regulatory developments to inform underwriting decisions.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to less experienced team members.
• Contribute to strategic projects, including product enhancements and process improvements.
• Support the team growth, retention and profitability objectives.
• Represent CFC at broker meetings and market events.
