AXIS Capital is looking for a proactive Underwriter to assist in underwriting new and renewal cyber and technology insurance portfolios. You will build and maintain broker relationships, ensure compliance with underwriting standards and guidelines, and collaborate with cyber product and risk teams to drive profitable growth.

The role emphasizes data-driven decision making, regulatory knowledge, and the ability to present and negotiate with clients and brokers in a fast-paced London market.

Qualifikationen

• Graduate Degree Level Qualifications preferred.
• Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations.
• Excellent technology literacy, including competence in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office systems.
• Excellent numeracy and analytical skills, including ability to analyse and compare data and reports.
• Excellent Verbal and Written communication, presentation skills.

Aufgaben

• Establish and maintain relationships with brokers, clients, vendors, re-insurers and other stakeholders to develop business and achieve targets.
• Underwrite classes of business as outlined in Authority guidelines to meet targets while monitoring global aggregation.
• Work within Underwriting, Pricing and Underwriting Authority Guidelines at all times.
• Participate in marketing through approved broker network and develop broker relationships.
• Liaise with other departments on risk entries, premium queries, contract certainty and credit control queries.
• Prepare risks for Peer Review and liaise with Delegated Underwriting Authority and Conduct Risk teams on coverholder business.
