Job summary

American International Group, Inc. in London is seeking a Senior Specialist Underwriter for Cyber & Technology to lead and manage our largest, most complex primary layer accounts, working with clients and brokers to showcase AIG’s value in the evolving cyber risk landscape.

You will partner with UK leadership to drive profitable growth, deliver market-ready product changes, and coordinate with Cyber Risk Advisory, claims, and regional teams to enhance incident response capabilities.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable track record in the insurance industry.
• Strong experience in Cyber or Technology underwriting, broking or claims.
• Understanding of the Cyber/Technology business model and underwriting methodology.
• High level of business acumen and problem-solving abilities.
• Analytical and quantitative skills; excellent presentation and time management.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of our largest and most complex primary layer accounts.
• Meet with clients and brokers to present AIG’s value proposition.
• Maximise AIG’s value proposition and win new business in the London market.
• Collaborate with UK leadership to drive profitable growth in Cyber & Technology.
• Support broker management and timely product changes to market needs.
• Drive research and development with claims to launch market-driven products.
• Coordinate with Cyber Risk Advisory on alerting and incident response workshops.
• Work with clients, brokers, and claims teams to enhance incident response capabilities.
• Cross-sell with regional heads and other lines; coordinate with Client & Broker Engagement.
• Work with Multinational and Captive teams on complex risk transfer programs.
