Job summary

Hexagon World Series in the United Kingdom is seeking a Director of Team Operations to lead the operational and commercial performance of the eight-franchise team ecosystem. Reporting to the VP, Championship & Sport, you will drive centralized shared services, governance, and scalable processes across franchises to deliver growth and long-term value.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership in a team/franchise model or high-growth property.
• Experience scaling operations from early-stage to growth.
• Strong track record in revenue generation and franchise value.
• Experience across international markets and diverse stakeholders.
• Familiarity with sport ecosystems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build, implement, and oversee all aspects of team operations across eight franchises, ensuring efficiency and scalability.
• Develop and manage a centralized shared services model, liaising between Team Management and central services.
• Support teams by advising on best practices across commercial, marketing, and operational functions.
• Define and enforce league-wide governance, regulations, and standards.
• Drive development of distinct team brand identities and differentiated commercial propositions.
• Oversee go-to-market strategies including sponsorship, partnerships, and fan engagement.
• Develop processes to support team fan experiences and partner activation at events.
• Establish and manage KPI frameworks across financial and operating metrics.
• Oversee reporting systems for visibility of performance to leadership and investors.
• Foster relationships with players, owners, agents, and key stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Competition and Player Relations on recruitment and contracts.
• Identify strategic opportunities for team growth, home venues, and local activation.
• Facilitate best-in-class experiences during and outside competition windows.
• Encourage knowledge-sharing across teams using insights from global leagues.
