Qualifications

• Business degree or equivalent experience.
• HNC in inventory or supply chain.
• Supply chain and/or inventory planning experience.
• General knowledge of SAP would be an advantage.
• Understanding of inventory, logistics, finance and manufacturing.
• A positive attitude and good work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Manage supplier relationships for continuous material supply.
• Place purchase orders timely and circulate forecasts.
• Lead weekly supplier reviews for material requirements.
• Expedite or reschedule purchase orders to meet inventory targets.
• Monitor customer order backlog and prioritise production.
• Provide updates on material availability and supplier issues.
• Maintain SAP planning parameters and delivery data in MRP.
• Update purchase orders and supplier information records.
