Johnson Controls, Inc. is looking for a Supplier Development Leader to enhance supplier performance across quality, delivery, capacity, cost and sustainability. The role is hybrid in Manchester with UK and international travel, reporting to Global Supply Chain.

You will drive continuous improvement and ensure readiness for new product introductions across our manufacturing network. You will lead supplier development initiatives, conduct audits, develop KPIs and collaborate with cross-functional

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline.
• Significant experience in supplier quality or development.
• Strong knowledge of APQP, PPAP and FMEA.
• Willingness to travel UK/international.

Mansioni

• Lead supplier development and improvement projects focused on quality, delivery, capacity and operational performance.
• Drive supplier readiness for new product introductions using APQP, PPAP and risk management methodologies.
• Conduct supplier audits, capability assessments and capacity reviews to validate manufacturing processes and scalability.
• Develop and monitor supplier KPIs, ensuring corrective actions and improvement plans are implemented effectively.
• Facilitate root cause analysis and structured problem-solving activities to resolve quality and delivery issues.
• Support supplier onboarding, qualification and ongoing performance management activities.
• Partner with Procurement, Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality and Supply Chain teams to achieve business objectives.
• Promote lean manufacturing, Six Sigma and continuous improvement practices throughout the supplier network.
• Travel to supplier locations as required to conduct assessments, reviews and development activities.
