Job summary

Worcester Bosch is seeking a Supplier Development Controller in the Logistics Procurement Team at the Distribution Centre. You will ensure timely, inventory-sensitive scheduling of components to support production and spares, while managing supplier performance and compliance.

The role covers Worcester and Clay Cross sites, with approximately 70 suppliers globally. You will drive continuous improvement, handle foreign trade topics, and work in a fast-paced environment with a hybrid working

Qualifications

Desirable: logistics experience and degree in business or supply chain.
Proficient with Microsoft Office; SAP knowledge beneficial.
Strong attention to detail, problem solving and decisiveness.
Excellent communication across organisational levels.
Able to work independently and in a team.
Comfortable in a fast-moving environment with deadlines.

Responsibilities

Ensure 100% availability of raw material components for production and spares at Worcester and Clay Cross.
Manage ~70 suppliers globally and process daily/weekly schedules.
Expedit e overdue deliveries by chasing suppliers.
Collaborate with suppliers to overcome bottlenecks in the global supply chain.
Drive supplier improvement activities to improve OTIF and delivery performance.
Oversee inventory in line with KPIs and support foreign trade topics.
Lead continuous improvement to reduce waste and streamline processes.
Support foreign trade and customs related topics.
